About the Journal

CoDE: Community Development and Empowerment is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal that publishes high-quality articles on community service and empowerment initiatives. This journal aims to become a platform for academics, practitioners, and community development enthusiasts to share innovative practices, research-based solutions, and collaborative strategies that foster sustainable social change.

The scope of CoDE includes, but is not limited to:

  • Community empowerment and capacity building

  • Local economic development

  • Education and literacy programs

  • Health and well-being initiatives

  • Environmental sustainability and conservation

  • Technological innovation for community benefit

  • Policy advocacy and participatory governance

  • Social entrepreneurship and inclusive development

Published twice a year in May and November. CoDE welcomes submissions from multidisciplinary perspectives, especially those emphasizing community engagement, participatory methods, and measurable social impact. Each article undergoes a rigorous peer-review process to ensure academic integrity and relevance to the field of community service
